This Thanksgiving, we’re giving a little extra back to our GreenMiles community.

From October 1 to December 31, 2026, GreenMiles members who reach 5,000 kWh of cumulative eligible charging will automatically unlock an enhanced reward rate of 16¢/kWh on subsequent eligible charging during the Offer Period.

How it works

  • Your first 5,000 kWh of eligible charging earns the standard 10¢/kWh.

  • Once your account reaches 5,000 kWh, subsequent eligible charging completed during the Offer Period earns 16¢/kWh.

  • Qualification is automatic — no registration or manual activation is required.

  • If you reached 5,000 kWh before October 1, your eligible charging during the Offer Period will begin earning 16¢/kWh starting October 1.

  • The enhanced 16¢/kWh rate ends on December 31, 2026.

Example 1: Reaching 5,000 kWh During the Offer Period

If your GreenMiles account records a total of 6,000 kWh, including 1,000 kWh completed after reaching the 5,000 kWh milestone and during the Offer Period from October 1 to December 31, 2026, your charging reward would be calculated as follows:

  • First 5,000 kWh at 10¢/kWh: 5,000 × $0.10 = $500

  • Next 1,000 kWh at 16¢/kWh: 1,000 × $0.16 = $160

  • Total EV charging reward: $500 + $160 = $660

Example 2: Reaching 6,000 kWh Before October 1

If your GreenMiles account has already recorded 6,000 kWh by September 30, 2026, you have already passed the 5,000 kWh milestone when the Offer Period begins.

If you complete an additional 1,000 kWh of eligible charging from October 1 to December 31, 2026, your charging reward would be calculated as follows:

  • First 6,000 kWh completed before October 1 at 10¢/kWh: 6,000 × $0.10 = $600

  • Additional 1,000 kWh completed during the Offer Period at 16¢/kWh: 1,000 × $0.16 = $160

  • Total EV charging reward: $600 + $160 = $760

These examples include EV charging rewards only. Referral, Top-Up and other promotional rewards are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I earn 16¢/kWh on the first 5,000 kWh?

The first 5,000 kWh of eligible charging earns the standard rate of 10¢/kWh. The additional 6¢/kWh applies only to eligible charging recorded after your account reaches 5,000 kWh.

  1. Does charging completed before October 1, 2026 count toward the 5,000 kWh milestone?

Yes. Eligible charging recorded before October 1, 2026 will count toward the 5,000 kWh milestone, so you will not need to start over. However, the additional 6¢/kWh will only apply to eligible charging completed after you reach 5,000 kWh.

  1. What happens if I reached 5,000 kWh before October 1, 2026?

If your GreenMiles account recorded at least 5,000 kWh of eligible charging before the offer began, you will qualify for the 16¢/kWh rate on eligible charging completed from October 1 to December 31, 2026.

Charging completed before October 1 will not be recalculated at the higher rate, even if you had already exceeded 5,000 kWh.

  1. When does the 16¢/kWh rate begin?

If you reached 5,000 kWh before October 1, the 16¢/kWh rate applies to eligible charging completed on or after October 1.

If you reach 5,000 kWh during the offer period, the 16¢/kWh rate applies to eligible charging completed after you reach 5,000 kWh.

The offer ends on December 31, 2026.

  1. Is there a membership fee or deposit?

No. GreenMiles does not require a membership fee or deposit to participate.

  1. Is the reward rate the same across Canada?

Yes. Eligible GreenMiles members can earn the same applicable reward rate across Canada, subject to program availability, eligibility and applicable laws.

  1. Can I combine this offer with other GreenMiles rewards?

Yes. You can still earn other eligible GreenMiles rewards:

After reaching 5,000 kWh of eligible charging, the 16¢/kWh rate helps you earn Points faster and reach Top-Up milestones sooner—including the highest reward of $300 in Store Credit.

Please note: The 16¢/kWh rate is unlocked by reaching 5,000 kWh of eligible charging, not by earning 5,000 Points. Because Points can also come from referrals, reviews and other bonuses, a balance of 5,000 Points does not necessarily equal 5,000 kWh of charging.

  1. Will the 16¢/kWh rate continue after December 31, 2026?

The 16¢/kWh rate is currently available until December 31, 2026. GreenMiles reward rates for 2027 will be reviewed based on carbon credit market conditions and applicable program standards, and will be announced in 2027. Any changes to the reward rate will be communicated to GreenMiles members once confirmed.


Terms and Conditions

Offer Period

The GreenMiles Up to 16¢/kWh Offer begins on October 1, 2026 and ends on December 31, 2026. During the Offer Period, members who have already reached or later reach, 5,000 kWh of eligible charging will earn 16¢/kWh on subsequent eligible charging completed before the Offer ends. Charging completed before the 5,000 kWh milestone is reached will continue to earn the standard rate of 10¢/kWh.

Eligibility

To participate, members must:

  • Charge in Canada;

  • Own or use an eligible Pion Power Flex-AC or Flex-AC Elite EV charger;

  • Register for GreenMiles through the Pion Power App;

  • Connect the charger to a stable Wi-Fi network; and

  • Accumulate at least 5,000 kWh of eligible charging.

Previously Recorded Charging

Eligible charging recorded before October 1, 2026 counts toward the 5,000 kWh milestone.

Members who reached 5,000 kWh before the Offer began will qualify for the 16¢/kWh rate starting October 1, 2026. However, charging completed before that date will not be recalculated at the higher rate.

Charging Volume and Points

The 16¢/kWh rate is unlocked by reaching 5,000 kWh of eligible charging, not by earning 5,000 GreenMiles Points.

Points may also be earned through welcome, referral, review, Top-Up and other promotional rewards. Therefore, a balance of 5,000 Points does not necessarily represent 5,000 kWh of charging.

Only verified eligible charging volume will count toward the milestone.

Changes or Termination

Subject to applicable law, Pion Power and/or GreenMiles may modify, suspend or terminate the Offer due to regulatory changes, program funding, technical limitations, fraud or circumstances outside their reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, members will be notified of material changes through the Pion Power App, GreenMiles website, email or another appropriate communication channel.

General Terms

These Terms apply specifically to the GreenMiles Up to 16¢/kWh Offer and supplement the general GreenMiles Program Terms and applicable privacy policy.

The offer is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and territorial laws and regulations.
