Before I bought this charger I had both a 110V and a 240V charger. Both were just plug and charge but the pion power charger both 110V and 240V it has Bluetooth capabilities. It was very easy to set up. Now I earn money

Great 120/ 240Vac Charger

The Pion Flex AC Elite is a great charger. I purchased it in Apr '26 because it has the capability of working from either a 120 or 240Vac receptacle. I charge at two locations and needed the flexibility of this charger.

Great Charging Station

Easy to connect, no issues with charging and stacking up points for cash. Only drawback is I have to collect enough to pay for the charger.

Good value for the money

I bought two of these chargers. The price was reasonable. I find their output in kwhrs is consistent. If I had any issue with them is I don't think the wifi works as good as it should.

Nice and Easy

Got the box the charger came with, installed the app and was ready to go. The first charge I had some difficulty with tracking the rebate (may have lost internet connection). Reliable charging so far otherwise.

Excellent overall charger

I really like how this charger can be both a level 1 and level 2 and this be portable. I got it hooked up to a level 2 NEMA 14-50 plug and even at 32 amps this thing charges my car in no time at all. Excellent product.

Works well but

works well BUT it would be nice though if they had the option to get a 30A 120V adaptor plug and have the charger enable you to charge at 24A 120V Or at least up to that currently it only comes with a 15 & 50amp adaptor

It works great. I am now earning g green miles . Internet connection was a challenge had to add anathema to the garage and change security settings for it to connect but is connected now and working great!

Great Charger for Everyday Use

Good build quality and works flawlessly once set up. Wi-Fi setup was tricky; I had to use 2.4GHz and WPA2. Consistently delivers 32A with no issues.

Great Charger and GreenMiles!

The GreenMiles program is awesome! The charger works very well and is capable of up to 32 A of charge. Plugs into an NEMA 14-50R. Make sure you have a heavy duty NEMA 1450 R plug. This is the best charger!

Great unit

My charger is used to charge my 2025 ford escape phev and my Chevrolet 2026 bolt that is fully electric. My charger can be set to charge from between 6amps and 40amps witch is great for both fast or slow charging

Simple to set up and having both bluetooth and wifi gives extra options. Disconnects sometimes from the network but reconnects by itself easily.

Pretty good unit. After almost a year, I don't have much negative to say. Not the best cable around when it's cold, but it's not a big deal and it does what it needs to do, which is charge the car.

Was relatively easy to install aside from some trouble when first setting up the app. Charging cord is slightly shorter than my previous charger. Other than that it works flawlessly and the points program is a good bonus

Great Charger Overall

I'm happy with my Pion Power Elite AC charger overall. It works well, and everything else about it has been good so far. My main complaint is that it doesn't track charging sessions when the charger is off Wi-Fi.

Got the charger on sale and very happy with it so far. Wish the app would save the wifi settings so you don’t have to keep entering the password each time you unplug the charger. Otherwise would highly recommend.

Pleased with the charger so far, we are using is as a level 1 as we are renting and can't install a new outlet for level 2. Struggled with wifi, I had to give it a separate network with a shorter password to connect.

Solid charger

Great charger, but can take some effort to fully insert. Make sure you remove and reinsert fully until you get the stated amperage (40A for me).

Would do it again!

This EVSE pays for itself within the first year, or put another way, the rebate system essentially makes it free to charge my EV. No waiting around to accumulate kWh before getting to $0.10/kWh. EVSE works reliably.

Collecting points

Took a few tries to get the schedule to work with the right combo of settings within the charger and the vehicle option (Chevy equinox ev). Now, I can plug in when I get home, and it will charge overnight when cheap.

Really like the charger data

Replaced my car's mobile charger with the Flex-AC Elite and am really happy with it. The data on charging stats as well as temperature readings is great as is the longer and beefier cable. Very pleased.

This works great. Just a bit tricky knowing how to claim cash or not hit the button to claim credite(there should be an extra step to confirm you are claimeling as credits before the point transfer IMO). Love the rest.

I received the charger in June and had some initial wifi connection issues. I found that the charger location was in a wifi deadspot so ordered a range extender which completely solved the problem. Very satisfied..

I would say that this charger has been great so far and I love the capability of having both level 1 and 2 charging with a simply change of connector. I am yet to try the level 2 charging but loving collecting the miles.

5 Months Review

I have been using the Elite charger for about 5 months now. No issues so far, with the exception that when manually charging from the app, it requires pressing the button on the app twice before charging starts.

Functions As advertised

This charger is great because you are able to use as a level one charger if you don’t have the install for level 2. Everything seems to work as advertised. Pretty cool that it has wifi and Bluetooth built in.

Easy to install and very simple to use. The charger works reliably, and I like being able to monitor and control charging through the app.

Works!

It took a bit to get going, and the 2.4gh limit to the WiFi connection is a big pain, but once you work out the bugs it works really well. The one star loss is from the initial frustration of old WiFi needs.

This is my first charger and I am glad I have chosen the right one. Easy to use with no problems. Unit is stable and reliable. Glad to have the option for 110V charging before my level 2 cabling is completed.

Great… mostly

I’ve been using my Flex Elite since May without any major issues. The only minor concern is some false positive network communication errors. They only tend to last a few minutes, but can get a bit annoying.

Solid build. Couldn't hook up to my router right away. Found out that it won't hook up to 5ghz only 2.4hhz. That's the only negative I have with it. Other then that it's been a great charger

Bang for you buck - but...

Some people had issues with setup but I didn't. Connect your phone to the charger, tell the charger your wifi info and boom. It works great, it doesn't get hot. BUT there's no buttons on the charger. App only 👎

The product appears to be working well so far. Some minor issues at the time of setup, but they seem to have self corrected. Really enjoy knowing that I can get money back for simply driving and charging my car!

I've had this for about 5 months now and I've been delighted. It was an easy install and has worked great ever since. I have set it up to charge overnight on my low rates but can still charge during the day if needed.

Pretty good experience so far, no issues connecting charger to wifi or Bluetooth. Only annoyance is always needing to open the app and set a schedule for charging session.

Straightforward program with great earn rate

I did a lot of comparison research before committing to Pion Power. The GreenMiles program has the highest earn rate and is the simplest program to sign up for. I had no issues connecting my charger via Bluetooth!

Set up was easy but you need decent wifi range to get points for charging. You can still connect through blue tooth if it is not connected to wifi and use the app but no points credited. Otherwise works well.

Reliable charger and support

Charges does what it supposed to do and has nice features in the app. I like the info and visuals and customisation. Support sent a new charger when I had an issue with the handle not unlatching properly.

Great Charger - Great Rewards

Been using the Flex AC Elite charger now for a little over 6 months. I drive a PHEV so am just using it as a level 1 charger for overnight charging which works great for my usage. The charger works great!

The charger itself is good, but the app has a few issues, some typos in places and some things not clear, but we worked through it.

Solid Charger with room for improvement

Solid build & quality, highest earnings per kWh. I have twom & used it for 9 months now, no issues. Improvements? 1) More manageable cable size/diameter, it's very difficult to move in winter, 2) The App could be better

Lovin it

Initial setup can be tricky (we got a blink code that isn't in the manual), cable is a bit short and stiff and I had to use the spacer so it looks a bit silly installed. Other than that it's great and does what we need!

Does what I bought it to do

I bought it to charge my car as a level 1 charger. It charges at 1.4kW as expected. The app is pretty good. I wish it gave the option to export the data to excel for spreadsheet purposes.

Easy to setup and use

Very easy to setup, use and track your GreenMiles rewards. My only issue is the wifi cuts in and out a lot. If not connected to wifi you don’t earn points while charging. Customer support has tried to help with the issue

Growing Pains

Overall I’m happy with the concept and the product. I’ve told all my EV friends about the buyback program and encouraged them to join Pion Power. Only setback I’ve encountered consistently is the customer service.

Solid Charger

I live in a condo and charge off a level 1 outlet in the garage. The Flex AC allows me to use a mobile connector setup and still participate in a rebate program, highly recommend!

Had a lot of trouble getting the charger connected to the internet. Once that was fixed, the Green Miles program has been easy to use and very worthwhile.

The product itself works very well. The only issue is that it is only compatible with WPA-2 security on your wifi network, so if you use WPA-3 you will have to downgrade the security first

Good program, solid charger

Joined PionPower because other providers were offering so little at the time and pleased with the charger. I charge at 32A with the NEMA 14-50 plug and it’s a solid unit. Just wish the wifi reception was better.

Pion charger has always worked to charge our vehicles and never let us down but the network to collect points has not been reliable and we have missed out on GreenMiles multiple times.

It's a great product. It tracks the temperature of the plug and outlet which allowed me to find out my outlet was failing (overheating). I have been lvl 1 charging for the past 8 months and it has worked perfect.

Pretty good charger I like the fact that you can swap between 110 and 240 volts. The Wi-Fi networking could be a little bit better to support Enterprise Wi-Fi but also easy to swap between networks when traveling.

6 months using and no issues

The Pion app and charger were easy to connect and get operating. In 6 months I have had no issues. Having a strong wireless connection is helpful to avoid dropping connection while charging.

The charger works great. The fact it's mobile and valid for the GreenMiles program is why I got it, most chargers with rebates are not mobile, this one is.

Charger with the perks!

Been fairly impressed with the charger as you can configure a number of things including amps to the single digits where some chargers only have a preset number. Also getting the greenmiles isn't a bad thing either!

Device does what it is supposed to. Charges my buzz at 40A(which is way better than 32A) and collects carbon credits. If you lose network though… no carbon credits. That sucks but just have to keep that wifi going.

Perfect for my EV. The app is really easy to set up. You can set charging times according to your home electricity plan. It's 3 hours faster than the car's built-in charger, and it can fully charge in 10 hours.

So far this charger has been awesome. Its only been a little over a month and I have already earned over 1000 points. The unit feels solid and was easy to.instal and get working. It is faster than the one VW gave me .

Pion app has amazing UI and useful features like scheduling, live stats and charging history. Only issue I had was chargers inability to seamlessly connect with 5 GHz wifi and having to manually seperate 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Took a bit to connect

Once I got the Wi-Fi connected to it, everything has worked out well. It needs to connect to a 2.4 MHz Wi-Fi network. And if you’re not aware of that, then it can be really frustrating until you realize it.

The cable on the 32A unit is thin and flexible. I have solar and use the scheduled charging to align when I am producing power to lower my electricity bills. The pion app works well for me.

I have been charging my 2016 Tesla Model S with this for 6 months without issue. I do have to use a J1772 to NACS adapter though. Would like a Native NACS option. Haven't received any carbon credit money yet.

Setup was easy Connecting to wifi took a couple tries to get it connected. Once connected to wifi it’s been solid. Sometimes thecharging male connector will heat past 60 celcius at times.

Overall, the Fkex AC Elite is a good EV charger, but it does have one issue. When the charger disconnects from their cloud servers, the Wi-Fi connection tends to drop as well. Other than that I keep getting rewarded.

Solid build and the app tracks everything easily. GreenMiles pays $0.10/kWh, should match others at $0.13. Minor app glitches at times but reliable overall.

The Fex-AC Elite is very reasonably priced and delivery was quick. The GreenMiles program is fantastic. All EV owners charging at home should be using this program. Note that the charger must be WiFi connected to earn.

The charger works well, but it was not easy to setup. It’s extremely sensitive to the quality of the wifi signal. I had to get a wifi range extender to use the charger.

Got the charger and it was fairly quick and easy to install. The only problem was attaching the holder for the end of the charger. My Drill could not reach all the way into the holder to work. Everything else was perfect

Haven't had a single problem since day 1! I drive a lot and charge a lot! Banking those green miles point should get me a new set of tires in the new year :)

Great Charger, Better Perks

I have been using this charger for months and it works so well. The app has all sorts of controls as well as settings. The thing that stands out the most is the rewards program which provides great benefits.

Seamless

So far the Greenmiles program and charger has been working amazingly for me. I enrolled to replace my main charger, have a spare charger and subsidize my charging costs. So far it's been a win on all fronts!

Great choice for a first EV charger

As a first-time EV owner, choosing a charger was confusing, but this one was easy to set up and stays connected. GreenMiles was a big plus—I just charge as usual and earn points. I've already received mine, and home charging makes life much easier.

Quick setup, great rewards

Setup was quick. Bluetooth paired right away, and the Wi-Fi connection has been fast and stable for me. I also received my GreenMiles points after charging, which was a nice bonus.

Perfect for overnight charging

The 32A model has been a great fit for home charging. I plug in at night and the car is ready in the morning.

Really like the small size, and the fact that it comes with L1/L2 compatibility. App set up was easy. I do wish the charging data was available for export. Also would have liked longer charging cable.

Very easy to setup with the app. Very easy to use. App shows exactly how much power I used.

The cable connection have to be very tight to work at 40 amp. Beside that it seems ok for now. Better to use inside a garage.

Used it for 2 weeks Working good

It works well and has a good web interface. The main cable is shorter than some at 20' and by the feel of it, it may get stiff in the very cold winter months of Canada. The handle doesn't feel the same quality of others in this price range. Nice small size of main unit. Great as a portable unit, ok-ish as a daily unit.

Great product, it has been easy to use and set up

It works great for 120v. Communicate with my 2025 outlandet PHEV Mitsubishi Connect app well. Cable is a bit stiff. Maybe due to its large gauge wires. I dont have 240v outlet. So only use 120v one so didnt try how well the app is to adjust 32amp current to 16amp that is only available for 240v. The packing box has a small problem for one zipper inside came off when arrived and can't fix it as it is cheap. Due to this the fabric is not able to cover completely the hard plastic support around the box inner wall. This is why I give 4 star. But overall the unit itself is good and looks high quality. Hope it lasts
